ARGIOLAS

argiolas grandi bottiglieArgiolas, fine wines from Sardinia

Argiolas is one of the most important and renowned wineries in Sardinia, located in Sedriana. It was founded in the 1930s by Antonio Argiolas, who developed the company by passing on to his heirs his passion and a philosophy based on respect and love for the land, principles followed today by his grandchildren who lead the reins of the third generation.

The success of Argiolas is a combination of tradition and innovation. The winery is recognised for having created a vineyard with 560 biotypes of indigenous Sardinian varieties, with vineyards spread from the Parteolla hills to Sulcis, in an extraordinary territory of unspoilt landscapes and historic sites where the region's indigenous plants grow, in a microclimate mitigated by the Mediterranean, sun, wind and soil highly suited to vine cultivation. The production philosophy based on respect for the terroir and the search for the highest quality grapes allow the company to create bottles of the highest quality despite the size of the company and the high production (about 2 million bottles are produced each year).

The range of Argiolas wines spans several types and includes world-renowned names such as Turriga and Korem, both of which were born from the collaboration between a great oenologist like Mariano Murru and the legendary Giacomo Tachis. Argiolas wines are authentic and territorial with a Mediterranean character, true pearls of Sardinia.
