Poully Fumé Mosaique 2018 is a French wine from the Loire region produced by Phillipe Raimbault. With Philippe we have reached the ninth generation of this company located in the small village of Sury-en-Vaux, near Sancerre. This bottle is made from 100% Sauvignon grapes, one of the most important and interesting white grape varieties of the Loire, from different plots that grow on marly soils mainly Kimmeridgiani, which blend in this cuvée. The name of the wine "Mosaique" means precisely the origin of the grapes from this "terroir mosaic" which gives this Poully Fume character and extraordinary balance. It is an elegant and lively wine with a fruity and mineral profile, refreshing, long-lasting sip.
