Paleo 2001 Le Macchiole
The Paleo 2001 is a Tuscan wine from the Le Macchiole winery based on 100% Cabernet Franc grapes. Fermentation takes place in steel and cement together with maceration, for a duration of 25 days. It is a robust and structured wine, a clear representation of the company philosophy carried out by Cinzia Merli, at the reins of the activity, to vinify pure grapes, as in this case it is an international vine on Tuscan territory. The Paleo Le Macchiole is deep ruby red in colour, with a nose of blackberries, raspberries, pepper and liquorice; the sip is rich and structured, taut.
