Meursault Vieilles Vignes 2017 Buisson Charles
Meursault Vieilles Vignes 2017 is a fine Burgundy wine produced by Buisson Charles. It is the result of the assembly between different grapes, whose age varies from 45 to 90 years, of 2 hectares of vines distributed over 6 lieux-dits: those of Vireuils and Meix Chavaux are located on the hills and bring freshness, while Marcausses, Vignes Blanches and Pellans are at the base of it, giving the wines structure and character; finally, the wine produced in Les Millerands is characterized by a great finesse. The blend of all these plots gives life to a complex and balanced wine with a great personality. Fermentation takes place in barriques with 20% percentage of new wood. Meursault Vieilles Vignes 2017 is a wine that perfectly reflects the territory of origin. With an intense and bright straw yellow color, it shows a delicately fruity nose of yellow peach and golden apple, hints of wood and smoky notes, while in the mouth it is very fresh and has a good balance between acidity and fatness, with a long savory finish. Like the other wines in the range, it has an excellent predisposition to aging, therefore it is essential to wait a few years for it to fully express its potential.
