Fiano Mendola 2019 Conti Zecca
Fiano Mendola 2019 is an Apulian white wine produced by Conti Zecca. The company aims to create high quality wines by preferring the use of native vines. This is the case of this Fiano Amendola 2019, produced only from Fiano grapes, a semi-aromatic autochthonous Apulian grape variety that comes from the Felicetta vineyard, of just over 2 hectares planted on an alluvial soil with a prevalence of limestone, characteristics that give the wine good minerality and flavor. Fermentation is carried out in steel at controlled temperature and then matures in cement tanks coated with food resin. Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, it has an intense nose of yellow fruit such as apple, pineapple and banana, together with the typical scent of aromatic herbs and good minerality. In the mouth it is medium bodied with a slightly sapid finish, and a good persistence. It goes well with flavored fish dishes, which it can hold thanks to its aromaticity. It is good if drunk also with white meat dishes.
