Dolcetto d'Alba 2020 Sandrone
Dolcetto d'Alba 2020 is a fine Piedmontese wine produced by Sandrone. It is obtained from Dolcetto grapes coming from three different vineyards, it is in fact the blending that allows to reach the same level of quality and softness every year. The plants have an average age of 30 years and are located at an altitude of 420 m above sea level. Both in the vineyard and in the cellar we work with precision to reach the highest quality: the maceration takes place in steel tanks for up to 9 days, while the fermentation, also in steel tanks, lasts up to 14 days, where the refinement follows. Dolcetto D'alba di Sandrone shows a lively ruby red colour; on the nose it expresses hints of fresh red fruit, such as cherry. The sip is fresh but at the same time soft, with velvety tannins. A perfect wine to drink now but also able to age for a few years, ideal in combination with appetizers and first courses.
