Chassagne Montrachet Les Encegnieres 2015 Marc Colin
Chassagne Montrachet Les Encegnieres 2015 is a fine wine produced by Domaine Marc Colin. The grapes come from two plots: "Les Encégnières / Les Enceignières", one in Chassagne-Montrachet (2.3 ha) which is located directly under Grand Cru Bâtard and one in Puligny-Montrachet (9.12 ha) which is located directly under Grand Cru Bienvenue-Bâtard. Both are considered incredible sites with high active limestone content, from plants 25 to 40 years old. After the harvest, the grapes are sorted, pneumatic pressing is carried out and they are vinified in new 15% barriques for 12 months. Before bottling, the wine settles for 6 months in steel containers. Chassagne Montrachet Les Encegnieres 2015 is a bright straw yellow wine, with a complex nose of tropical fruit and citrus fruits, flowers, mineral salts and spices. Balanced, fresh and savory sip.
