Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru En Caillerets 2017 is a white wine from Burgundy produced by Domaine Sylvain Morey. It is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the 1er Cru vineyard of the same name. This wine, according to Sylvain Morey himself, is one of the most prestigious bottles of the entire range of the Domaine, a wine that every year is able to express great power, elegance and minerality. The Chassagne-Montrachet Cru En Caillerets 2017 shows a beautiful bright golden yellow colour in the glass. The first nose expresses nuances of lemon, lemongrass and lime, complemented by notes of fruit and Mediterranean herbs. The sip is rich and full-bodied but balanced by a lovely freshness. Finally, this great Burgundy white is striking for its lovely length, with a finish of citric notes that we had sensed on the nose.
