Champagne Vintage Coffret 1990 is a fine Champagne produced by the Maison Krug. Krug is one of the most renowned names in the panorama of French bubbles, and 1990 was a generous vintage: the wines of this vintage are characterised by clear fruity scents, accompanied by a great elegance, a trademark of the Maison.
The Vintage Coffret is a rich and complex vintage Champagne, which stays a good 14 years on the lees and has a great predisposition for ageing. It shows a delicate but very luminous golden yellow colour to the eye, with fine and persistent perlage.
The nose offers elegant and intense hints of orange blossom and liquorice, accompanied by red and yellow fruit, together with toasted notes, chocolate and yeast aromas. In the mouth, it is deep and balanced between savouriness, freshness and structure, with a long persistence. A true masterpiece, a unique and inimitable Champagne, destined for a very long life.
