Champagne Millesime Grand Cru Brut 2009
The Champagne Millesime Grand Cru Brut 2009 is a fine millesime Champagne produced by André Clouet. It is a Blanc de Noirs made from Pinot Noir in purity from vineyards classified as Grand Cru located in Bouzy, in the southern part of the Reims Mountains, an area particularly suited for the production of Pinot Noir. Rich, concentrated and very elegant champagne, despite both produced only from Pinot Noir grapes. The vinification takes place thanks to an ancient press but the must is collected in modern steel containers. Subsequently the refermentation takes place in the bottles which are left to rest on the lees for three years, in the basement of the cellar, with continuous remouage. It shows a bright golden yellow color with fine, numerous and persistent perlage; The nose gives a complex and refined bouquet of fruit such as apple and pear, mineral and smoky hints, balsamic notes. The sip is powerful and tasty, with a very long expressive finish. Excellent in combination with elaborate fish dishes, crustaceans, smoked salmon. The Champagne Millesime Grand Cru Brut 2009 (classified AOC Champagne Grand Cru Brut) quickly became the protagonist of the Clouet production, as well as appreciated and recognized by Champagne admirers all over the world.
