Champagne Les Genettes Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs 2014 Eric Rodez
Eric Rodez's 2014 vintage "Les Genettes" Champagne is obtained by bottle re-fermentation of 100% Chardonnay grapes from the Grand Cru terroir of Ambonnay, in particular from a small parcel called Les Genettes, from vines over 35 years old.
The base wine was vinified entirely in small oak barrels without malolactic fermentation, followed by re-fermentation in the bottle according to the dictates of the Champenoise method.
The 2014 Champagne Les Genettes Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs from Rodez is bright golden yellow in colour, with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose expresses mouth-watering notes of yellow fruits, spices and vanilla, for an elegant, harmonious sip with a savoury finish.
