The Champagne "Extra Brut Premier Cru" Le Cran "is a fine Champagne produced by Bérèche et Fils. It is a classic Champagne that comes from a blend of 40% Pinot Noir and 60% Chardonnay from two of the best parcels, premier Cru vineyards located in the localities of Ludes, the Cran and the St. Jean. Each production step is followed with care and respect for the territory: the use of chemicals is prohibited in the vineyard and in the cellar; fermentation takes place in oak barrels and refermentation in the bottle, with a stop on the lees for 84 months. The Champagne "Le Cran" Extra Brut Premier Cru of Bérèche et Fils shows a golden yellow color, with fine and persistent perlage. The nose is complex and dynamic, it opens with fruity hints to evolve towards balsamic notes. In the mouth it is rich, fresh with citrus notes, but at the same time creamy in a magnificent balance and long persistence. It is a unique and precious bottle to drink on special occasions.
