Champagne Extra Brut Bistrotage B.10 NV Charles Dufour- Domaine Francoise Martinot

This Extra Brut Bistrotage B.10 NV is a fine Champagne produced by Charles Dufour-Domaine Francoise Martinot according to natural principles without the use of chemicals. Pure Pinot Noir grapes are obtained from vines from the Cote de Bar that rest on limestone-clay soils. The harvest dates back to 2010, the fermentation of the base wines takes place in large French oak barrels, as well as the aging. Subsequently, no filtration or clarification is carried out and no dosage, even the use of sulfur dioxide is prohibited. The Champagne Extra Brut Bistrotage is a complex and lively sparkling wine, with a bright straw yellow color and a persistent and fine perlage. The nose has a mainly fruity profile, together with aromas of yeast and bread crust, and mineral notes. In the mouth it is soft and creamy, recalls the fruit of the nose with a good persistence.

DUFOUR/DOMAINE FRANCOISE MARTINOT

The Maison de Champagne Dufour has a very long history, but it was with the arrival of Charles in the early 2000s that it radically changed its style by turning to organic and biodynamic viticulture in order to obtain Champagnes that reflect as authentically as possible the quality of their terroir.
