The Champagne "Cuvée des Caudalies" Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is a fine Champagne produced by De Sousa. It is obtained from 100% Chardonnay grapes that come from vineyards over 50 years old, from the renowned Grand Cru of Avize, grown according to biodynamic principles without the use of sulphites. This Champagne De Sousa is a bottle of great class and quality, one of the spearheads of the production, which ferments in wood and referments in the bottle with a long rest on the lees (48 months), from which derives a complex and elegant bouquet, a great structure and remarkable aging capacity. De Sousa's Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Champagne "Cuvée des Caudalies" fascinates from the very first sip for its extraordinary facet and expressive refinement. The grapes come only from vineyards over 50 years old, grown in the municipal area of the Grand Cru of Avize. This bottle of Champagne has a bright warm straw color, tending towards golden, with an extremely fine and persistent perlage. The nose first of all expresses mineral aromas and salty notes, accompanied by delicate floral and fruity hints. In the mouth it is balanced between freshness and creaminess, with a nice mineral finish.
