Champagne Brut Nature Domaine Agrapart
Champagne Brut Nature is a fine wine produced by Domaine Agrapart. It is a Champagne Blanc de Blancs made from Chardonnay grapes that come from old Grand Cru vineyards in Avise. A rare Cuvée and strongly desired by Agrapart, the result of the challenge of wanting to produce a Natural Champagne "without any exogenous input", i.e. using only his natural must to be added to the cuvée to start the second fermentation, a concession he has had since 2002. Zero dosage, classified as Extra Brut, spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts takes place in oak barrels while refermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Champenoise method. The wine then matures for about 60 months in the bottle. The Champagne Brut Nature of Agrapart has a brilliant straw yellow colour, while the nose expresses a bouquet of balsamic, fruity and floral scents. The sip is very fresh, mineral and persistent.
