Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 1997 Biondi Santi
Biondi Santi's Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 1997 is a fine, high quality wine produced by the renowned Biondi Santi winery located in the Tuscany region of Italy.
Biondi Santi's Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 1997 is made exclusively from Sangiovese Grosso grapes, which are hand-picked from the winery's estate vineyards. The grapes come from carefully selected and cultivated vineyards located in the Montalcino area, one of Italy's most renowned wine-growing areas.
Vinification of Biondi Santi's Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 1997 follows traditional techniques and artisanal production methods. After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and gently crushed, and the must is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for about 20 days. Next, the wine is transferred to Slavonian oak barrels for aging, where it rests for at least 3 years before release.
From an organoleptic point of view, Biondi Santi's Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 1997 is a wine of great elegance and complexity. The nose reveals intense notes of ripe red fruit and spices, with a hint of vanilla and tobacco. In the mouth it is full and structured, with soft, velvety tannins, excellent acidity and a long, lingering finish. This is a wine of great longevity, which can be cellared for many years before reaching its full maturity.
