SALVIONI

Salvioni Grandi BottiglieSalvioni: un'istituzione del Brunello di Montalcino

Salvioni is one of the historical wineries of Montalcino, in Tuscany. At the reins of the winery since 1985 there is Giulio Salvioni, who, thanks to his experience and to the help of the expert enologist Attilio Pagli, together with the very particular terroir of Cerbaiola vineyard, where he gets his grapes, gives life to great and characteristic Brunello di Montalcino.

The company's philosophy is based on the concept that a great wine is produced from healthy grapes, so in the vineyard we wait for the perfect ripening of the grapes and we always try to obtain excellence.

In fact, if Giulio is not completely satisfied with the harvest, he refuses to produce Brunello but only Rosso di Montalcino. The main characteristic of Salvioni's wines is the perfect balance between softness and freshness (we are at 420 above sea level), exposure to the morning sun (south-east), clay matrix of the soil and not exaggerated planting density, in order to allow the plants to have a lot of space, favoring air circulation.

Cerbaiola Salvioni is a reference point for Brunello lovers from all over the world.
