Bourgogne Aligoté 2019 Petit Roy
Bourgogne Aligoté 2019 is a white Burgundy wine produced by Domaine Petit Roy using biodynamic methods. The grapes come from a renowned parcel planted in 1983, on the lieu-dit Aux Boutières in Savigny-les-Beaune, on clay-limestone and marl soils and are processed according to biodynamic farming principles.
Vinification starts with a direct pressing, gentle racking, fermentation on indigenous yeasts that generally lasts 2 months in barrels without the addition of sulphur dioxide. Maturation takes place in used wooden barrels for about 9 months, then racked with the addition of a minimum amount of sulphur dioxide.
Bottling takes place without any clarification or filtration. The Bourgogne Aligoté 2019 has a luminous straw yellow colour, with hints of yellow fruit and mineral salts for a very straight and fresh, immediate sip.
