Barolo Villero 2016 Oddero
Barolo Villero 2016 is a fine Italian wine produced by Oddero. It is produced with the grapes of a very renowned single cru that gives life to Barolo structured and elegant, from plants over 50 years old which are at a height of 240 m above sea level, on clay-rich soils. The wine then ages in 40-hectolitre oak barrels for 30 months and ages in the bottle for a year before being put on the market. Barolo Villero 2016 shows a rather intense ruby red color, while the nose expresses elegant and refined aromas, with notes of violet, cherry, small red berry fruits, licorice, spices and tobacco. In the mouth it is structured and complex, a thick and subtle tannin and a nice finish of freshness. It is a rather important Barolo, which needs some rest in the cellar before it can express itself at its best.
