Barolo Riserva San Bernardo 2013 Palladino
The 2013 Barolo Riserva 'San Bernardo' is a fine wine produced by Palladino. It is a Barolo made from Nebbiolo grapes, grown in one of the crus in the commune of Serralunga d'Alba, which gives the label its name.
The vineyards are located at an altitude between 260 and 370 metres above sea level, with an excellent southern exposure. Fermentation takes place in steel, while maturation takes place first for 24 months in large oak casks, and then, after bottling, for a further 12 months directly in glass.
This Barolo Riserva "San Bernardo" 2013 is a Barolo that shows a luminous garnet red colour; the nose is complex, with balsamic and spicy aromas that blend with hints of ripe red fruit. In the mouth it is full-bodied, with good freshness and minerality, persistent.
