Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata 2016 Ratti
Barolo Rocche dell'Annunziata is a fine Italian wine produced by Ratti. The grapes come from the homonymous cru of the municipality of La Morra, "Le Rocche dell’Annunziata" among the most prestigious in the area. Harvested by hand in October, this wine undergoes an alcoholic fermentation in steel followed by malolactic fermentation in wooden barrels. The final refinement takes place for 12 months in French barriques and a further period of one year in large 25 hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels. With a ruby red color tending to garnet, the Barolo Rocche dell 'Annunziata di Ratti expresses delicate floral hints of violet and berries such as blackberry and blueberry on the nose, ending with spices and fresh touches of mint. In the mouth it is powerful, harmonious and persistent.
