Barolo "Brunate" 2016 Francesco Rinaldi
Barolo "Brunate" 2016 is a Piedmont red wine produced by Francesco Rinaldi. It is a wine with a great structure that ages for a long time in wood, but at the same time it is very soft and easy to drink. The Nebbiolo grapes that make up this label come from the renowned Brunate cru, in vineyards facing south-east, on a mainly clayey soil. Ferment in steel and concrete tanks, macerating with periodic pumping over for 20-30 days. It then ages for 3 years in Slovenian oak barrels. The "Brunate" Barolo shows a beautiful ruby color that turns towards garnet. The nose expresses a bouquet ranging from red fruit, to spicy and ethereal aromas. In the mouth it is full-bodied, harmonious and beneficial, with present but delicate tannins, and long persistence. A fascinating and highly territorial bottle that has been highly appreciated by international critics.
