Barbera d'Alba Superiore Bricco Appiani 2011 is a red wine from Piedmont produced by Flavio Roddolo. A great Barbera from a great producer, a tireless worker and very attached to his land, capable of producing authentic and genuine wines like this one. The Barbera grapes come from his vineyards located at the top of his Bricco Appiani in Monforte d'Alba. Intense ruby red in colour, it has a nose of ripe fruit macerated in alcohol followed by vegetal, mineral and spicy notes. In the mouth it is quite fresh and tannic, balanced by a nice softness. A wine of great personality.

Flavio Roddolo is a wine grower from Monforte d'Alba in the Langhe region of Italy. He is deeply rooted in the land and is convinced that it is the terroir, more than anything else, that determines the character of the wine. Dolcetto is one of his most famous wines, a difficult and less profitable grape but which in his hands expresses itself at sensational levels. Then Nebbiolo, Barbera and Cabernet Sauvignon, which give life to bottles of rare authenticity and quality.
