Barbaresco Ovello Riserva 2015 is a Piedmontese fine wine produced by Produttori del Barbaresco. The Nebbiolo grapes come from the homonymous cru from which this Reserve takes its name: The Orvello vineyard is located in the south, south-west of the municipality of Barbaresco, on calcareous-clayey soils, and offers complex and austere wines, with fruity hints and Great predisposition to aging: this is the case of this Barbaresco Ovello 2015, which has an intense garnet red color with ruby reflections; the nose expresses a bouquet of red fruit such as cherry and raspberry, spices, licorice, and a light toasted note of coffee. In the mouth it is structured and full, with a tannin present. A great Barbaresco that requires a few years of rest in the cellar to be tasted in its fullness and harmony.

Cantina Cooperativa dei Produttori del Barbaresco is the historical winery of the homonymous Piedmontese town of Barbaresco, founded in 1958 thanks to Don Fiorino Marengo. Today the Cooperativa dei Produttori del Barbaresco winery has 50 members with about 110 hectares of vineyards in Barolo in the 9 best crus of the denomination: Asili, Muncagota, Pora, Rabaja, Ovello, Montestefano, Montefico, Rio Sordo and Pajé; every year a bottle of Barbaresco Riserva per Cru, a Barbaresco Docg from the union of the 9 crus and a Langhe Nebbiolo are produced.
