Auxey-Duresses Rouge Les Hoz 2020 Agnes Paquet
Auxey Duresses Rouge 2019 is a red wine from Burgundy produced by Agnes Paquet. Auxey-Duresses is located in the Côte de Beaune between and above Volnay, Monthélie and Meursault at the entrance to a side valley leading to the village of Saint-Romain and the Hautes Côtes de Beanue.
Agnès' vineyards are located in the lieu-dit Les Hoz on her family's original 5 hectares planted in 1950 and 2000. The Pinot Noir Auxey-Duresses rouge shows a bright ruby red colour in the glass.
Aromas of small red fruits explode from the glass along with delicate notes of earth and undergrowth. In the mouth, the wine is fresh with a well-integrated tannic texture, with mouth-watering fruit aromas such as wild strawberry, raspberry and pomegranate for a persistent sip.

VINEYARDS: 100% Pinot Noir
VINIFICATION: The red fermentations are in cement tanks and last 15-20 days, with part of the harvest left whole. Ageing is in barrels (15-30% new) for 10-12 months, depending on the vintage.
