Auxey Duresses Rouge is a French red wine from the Burgundy region produced by the domaine Jean Philippe Fichet. This parcel is located in the Bourdon Mountains continuing from Monthelie. The vineyards are south-east facing on sloping ground with very little surface marl. This bottle has the typical characteristics of the terroir of origin: The wines of the Auxey-Duresses area are full-bodied and structured with notes of black fruits such as red cherry or blackberry, at the same time fresh and delicate with tannins present but well blended where aromas are mixed fruity on the nose together with spicy and toasted notes.
