Amarone della Valpolicella 2010 Bertani
Amarone della Valpolicella 2010 is a fine Veneto wine produced by Bertani. It is made from a careful selection of native rondinella and corvina veronese grapes that are dried naturally on the aréle (bamboo cane racks), and then fermented slowly in winter in cement, to achieve a better balance with the maturation in large barrels, lasting at least 6 years. Amarone Bertani shows a ruby red color with garnet hues; on the nose it expresses a complex bouquet of red fruits and cherries in alcohol, followed by hints of dried fruit, tea, licorice and spices. The sip is balanced between softness and austerity, and very persistent. A great wine: clean, elegant and timeless.
