Champagne Millesime (2006)
This wine is produced exclusively from 2006 vintage grapes, 50% Pinot Noir, 50% Chardonnay.
Vinification: hand harvesting, pressing of whole bunches, alcoholic fermentation at 17 ˚C and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature.
Horizontal aging in traditional chalk cellars for at least 8 years. The wines are left to rest for another two months after the dosage before being put on the market.
It is a wine with a bright golden color.
Complex nose with aromas of cooked fruit and mushrooms.
The Pinot Noir is predominant at first and then follows the Chardonnay balancing with acidity the Pinot Nero.
Taste of croissants and toasted bread with a background of dried fruit (hazelnuts, almonds). A mature round wine with a silky finish that combines hints of candied fruit and vanilla.
