Champagne Brut Grande Cuvée Krug
The Champagne Brut Grande Cuvée is a fine Champagne produced by Krug, one of the most renowned Maison in the panorama of sparkling wines in France, which has won international criticism thanks to its inimitable class.
The Grande Cuvée is part of the production line entrusted by the ability of the Chef de Cuve to assemble 120 base wines of the best crus from over ten different years (the best vintages), mainly Chardonnay. The bases refermented in the bottle according to the champenoise method with rest on the lees of 6 years: 20 years of history behind this bottle, a real treasure to be kept in the cellar.
At sight, the precious Krug Grande Cuvée is bright golden yellow in color, with a very fine, numerous and persistent perlage. The nose expresses a bouquet of ripe fruit with floral notes and hints of honey, almonds, sweet spices and marzipan. In the mouth it is deep, very elegant, balanced between freshness and creaminess. Recommended pairing with elaborate fish dishes, aged cheeses.
